New AAOS campaign highlights the diverse Faces of Orthopaedics

The Academy officially launched Faces of Orthopaedics, a new multimedia campaign created to inspire and promote conversations around diversity in orthopaedics.
A key component of the campaign is to drive conversation on social media using the hashtag #FacesofOrthopaedics to promote the diverse orthopaedic population across a wide range of demographics including, but not limited to, age, race, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status and background to our members and the general public.
Since the campaign’s launch on October 25th, the Academy has received an unprecedented response and online conversation social stream. We want to keep the momentum going and invite you, our passionate members to share a photo or video of yourself on social media with a unique caption describing the importance of diversity in orthopaedics or what makes you diverse. Help us shape the many #FacesofOrthopaedics!
